Description from the seller
GERMANY. Muldenhütten. 200 Marks. 1923.
- Value: 200 Marks.
Year: 1923.
- Obverse: DEUTSCHES REICH · 200 MARK · 1923 · E, with stylized branches on both sides of the denomination. Reverse: EINIGKEIT UND RECHT UND FREIHEIT, the German Republic's eagle with outstretched wings.
- Grade: MS65 (NGC).
Aluminum coin from the period of the Weimar Republic, issued during the German hyperinflation of 1923. It features a sober and functional design, characteristic of emergency issues, with clear typography well proportioned on the obverse and the firm-lined Republican eagle on the reverse. The specimen shows full relief, excellent definition in the feathers and legends, and clean fields with uniform original luster. Outstanding preservation for the type, with minimal surface marks and a visual appeal well above the average of these issues.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to make it absolutely clear that I ship from Spain. This means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside the EU that has a special tax agreement (for example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs, and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and is completely out of our control. Thank you for your understanding.
