Pair of antique mahogany column bedside cabinets dating to 1850–1900, in the Antique Luigi Filippo style, with 79 cm height, 33 cm width, 40 cm depth, about 25 kg, originating from Lombardy, Italy, in discrete condition with probable small missing pieces.
Description from the seller
Splendid pair of antique column bedside tables, crafted in precious wood (walnut/cherry) from the late 19th to the early 20th century. Characterized by a clean, elegant line, these pieces perfectly embody the taste of classic Italian antiques, suiting both historic bedrooms and interiors with eclectic and contemporary design.
Main Features
• Material: Solid wood with visible grain and a warm original patina.
• Structure: Each element is composed of a practical upper drawer and a lower compartment with a hinged door.
• Details: Original wooden knobs, a solid base with onion-shaped turned feet that lend dynamism to the figure.
• Condition: good state of preservation. The wood is sound and the structures are solid; they show the natural signs of age that attest to their authenticity and enhance their charm.
Why choose them?
These nightstands are not just pieces of furniture, but pieces of history. Their columnar shape, less bulky than traditional models, makes them ideal as bases for decorative lamps or small entryway furnishings in an Art Deco or Vintage setting.
In one of the drawers there's very little space where the wood is missing, as shown in the photo.
