AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Boulle-style mantel clock - This style was dominant under Louis XIV and was reused under Napoleon III.

The clock has a wooden base (see photo) of which one of the four feet (rear left) is not original. The clock worked at my great-aunt's, but for 12 years it has not been used. The winding key is missing. A service is due to put it back into running order. I have indicated a power reserve of 8 days, but I cannot be sure.

Dimensions:
Clock: 18 cm wide - 34 cm high - 10 cm deep
Base: 25.5 cm wide - 6.5 cm high - 14.5 cm deep
