Two original vintage metal safety signs from Italy, beige in colour, dating to the 1950s–60s, titled ‘Norme Generali Prevenzione Infortuni’ (70 × 50 cm) and ‘Soccorsi d’urgenza da prestarsi ai colpiti da corrente elettrica’ (47 × 33 cm), in used condition with probable small parts missing.

Two splendid vintage industrial signs containing Italian safety and first aid regulations, dating mainly from the 1950s and 1960s.
Description of the Signs
Large sign (right): It bears the "General Rules for Injury Prevention" and refers to the Decree of the President of the Republic of April 27, 1955, No. 547. This decree has been a milestone in Italian occupational safety legislation, establishing general standards for the prevention of injuries. The plaque also lists the penalties for violators.
Small sign (left): Titled "Emergency aid to be provided to those struck by electrical current," it lists the "First measures" and "Some methods for artificial respiration" with explanatory illustrations. It is a sign specifically provided for by the regulations for electrical hazard areas, sometimes labeled as Model 101 of DPR 547.
Usage
These signs were used in factories, workshops, and industrial environments in Italy for decades, before signage regulations updated to newer standards (such as UNI EN ISO 7010).
Today, the original metal or cardboard copies are considered collectible items or elements of industrial decor.
