Antique bronze balance scale with bronze pans and a set of weights – for commercial/laboratory use
An antique two-pan balance scale, made of gilded metal (bronze or brass), with a central column and decorated arms, mounted on an ornate circular base. The pans are suspended by metal chains and maintain good structural symmetry, suitable for precision weighing of its era.
Accompanies a complete set of bronze weights, duly marked in grams, fitted into an original solid wood base with dedicated cavities. The weights include different gram amounts, enabling graduated measurements, typical of commercial, pharmaceutical, or other uses.
