Océanic - Régate Tube radio

This distinctive, typically French radio has been fully restored, is ready for daily use, and is a real eye-catcher in every living room.
Wooden cabinet and 'ears' primed, stained and protected with clear high-gloss varnish.
Front and knobs thoroughly cleaned, and the gilded parts repainted.
The radio is completely original except for 2 additions:
- Solid State tuner: very good reception on FM 87.5-108 MHz with a whip antenna;
Bluetooth receiver (not HIFI)
There is reception on the AM bands (long, medium, and shortwave, including the 49m band), but reception is highly dependent on the local conditions.
Replace all non-mica and non-ceramic capacitors.
Scale and front lighting with LED strips 6VDC.
Turntable input (external amplifier) and output for an external speaker (5-8 ohms) with banana plugs.

Tubes: EZ80-EL84-EF80-EBF80-ECH81 (tested +90%), EM34 (tested 85%, “magic eye”, connected as VU meter), EABC80 (tested +90%, added for FM & Bluetooth preamplification).
Output power: 4 watts into a single broadband speaker.
