Two Beomaster 2400-2 units (serial 2202019) are offered in very good physical condition and are tested and functional, each including a remote control and weighing 4 kg.
Description from the seller
The Beomaster 2400 offered, for added convenience, a wireless ultrasonic remote control that let you operate the radio, the amplifier, and Beogram 2400 or 4004 turntables remotely. Both receivers featured touch-sensitive controls for the functions you used every day. All secondary switches and settings were protected beneath a hinged lid, but an illuminated display let you see the device’s operating status at a glance.
With the sleek remote control module you could choose between four pre-set radio stations or the turntable, turn the volume up or down, or put the system in standby. Thanks to the illuminated panel with a large display you could easily see the playback status from anywhere in the room. The phase-locked loop decoder ensured a wide separation between the stereo channels and remained stable for a very long lifetime. When a stereo broadcast was received, an 'S' symbol automatically lit up on the front panel of the unit. Automatic Frequency Control (AFC) kept the selected radio station perfectly tuned, and a muting circuit suppressed noise between stations while tuning.
The stereo amplifier produced 2 x 30 watts RMS on hi-fi output and had DIN connectors for connecting two pairs of speakers, a turntable, and a reel-to-reel or cassette recorder.
