I am offering a striking sculptural centerpiece made of Czech handmade glass by Egermann, produced in the traditional glassmaking region of Nový Bor.
This heavy studio bowl is formed from thick crystal glass with a flowing organic shape and extended pulled rims. The elegant smoke-grey body contrasts beautifully with the deep dark-green core, creating impressive optical depth and light refraction from every angle.
Each curve was shaped individually at the furnace, therefore the bowl is not perfectly symmetrical — a clear sign of authentic hot-worked craftsmanship rather than pressed production. Because of its weight and dynamic form, the piece works as a glass sculpture as much as a fruit bowl.
