Description from the seller
No reserve price
The 'Serpent' ring, a special version of the classic cabochon ring designed by Lalique in 1931 in its amethyst-colored crystal version. In it, the cabochon is carved with the shape of delicate scales, mimicking the skin of the reptile. The snake is a recurring icon in jewelry, symbolizing elegance and seduction; René Lalique drew inspiration from it in numerous creations.
The "Lalique style" derives from an artistic gesture, easily recognized through the manual modeling of shapes and patterns. Lalique's identity is built on the combination of softness, femininity, and nature, with strong inspirations from Art Nouveau and Art Deco.
All of the glass masters at the prestigious brand follow ancient methods when bringing their creations to life. All Lalique products are handcrafted by artists and artisans using traditional techniques and knowledge passed down for generations.
The condition of the ring is excellent, showing minimal signs of wear (however, to assess it yourself please examine the photographs carefully—they are part of the description). Size 57.5 (17.5).
It comes in its original gray brand box, as shown in the latest photos (the red display box is not included). It will be carefully packaged.
