Description from the seller

Elegant porcelain figurine by the prestigious German manufacturer Scheibe-Alsbach, located in Thuringia. This piece depicts a noblewoman of high rank in an evening gown, executed with the technique of 'lace porcelain' (Dresden Lace), where the liquid porcelain is applied over real lace that disappears in firing, leaving only the delicate network of ceramic.

The piece stands out for the vibrant contrast between the bodice in deep cobalt blue and the voluminous skirt composed of layers of white lace. The decoration is enriched with tiny hand-applied flowers and details in fine gold at the base and on the accessories. All details are extremely delicate and intact, as the photos show.

Manufacturer: Porcelain Manufactory Scheibe-Alsbach (Germany).

Brand/Seal: Marked on the base with the manufacturing symbol.

Material: hard porcelain with hand-painted decoration and gold application.

Dimensions: Height: 19 cm | Base: 7 cm diameter.

Note: There is a very small blister on the fingers of the raised hand, as seen in the photos.

Shipping and Packaging:
Due to the extreme delicacy of the porcelain lace, this lot requires high-security professional packaging.
Shipping and customs costs borne by the buyer for registered mail.
