For sale: a beautiful and characterful Houghton Ensign Cameo folding plate camera, produced between circa 1927 and 1938 in England.
This classic bellows camera has a leather-coated wooden body with a solid metal front plate, which provides a beautiful combination of craftsmanship and industrial precision from the interwar period.
The camera is equipped with a high-quality Zeiss Tessar 1:4.5 f=105mm lens – one of the most highly regarded lenses from that period, known for its sharpness and fine image rendering.
