Portico clock - Wood, Bronze - 1850-1900

French clock, Napoleon III style with twisted columns. Magnificent 19th-century clock, richly decorated with floral inlays and blackened finishes.
The clock features intricate bronze detailing at the top and bottom of the four twisted columns on each side, as well as on the pendulum and the dial.
The light boxwood inlays provide a striking contrast against the darkened backdrop.
The mechanism, of course fully assembled, works perfectly; it will just need to be adjusted and the clock set on a stable surface, the key is present.
