Decorative ornament (2) - Italy - Drum shaped boxes

Pair of Italian patinated bronze drum-form covered vessels, late 19th century.
Each modeled as a military drum with applied tension rods and removable lids, revealing fitted interiors. Finely cast with a rich, time-darkened surface. Decorative yet functional, suitable for use as cachepots, kindling containers, or storage. Large drum: H 7,5cm x D 7cm; small drum: H 5,3cm x D 5cm
On the small drum, some of the support wires are loose (pictured).
