Description from the seller
In this auction, we offer:
Caruba flash umbrella 109 cm, white/black
This concerns a new product.
This flash umbrella has a diameter of 109 centimeters, a white interior and a black exterior. The umbrella is suitable for any studio flash set and is ideal for preventing harsh shadows.
A white/black flash umbrella (also called a reflective umbrella) is used in studio photography. You place your flash inverted relative to your subject. The flash is reflected off the white inner surface of the umbrella, giving you a softer light source. A reflective umbrella loses less light than a translucent umbrella, and you can steer the light more. The downside is that you can’t place the light source as close to your subject, because the flash unit sits between you and the umbrella. And the closer you hold the umbrella to your subject, the softer the light. With a translucent umbrella you can make the light just a notch softer, but with the reflective umbrella you have more control over your light.
