For sale is a finely wrought sacred wooden sculpture depicting the crowned Madonna with the Christ Child. Mary is depicted in a calm, slightly inclined pose, the child clings closely to her. The cloud pedestal is adorned with three-dimensionally carved angel heads. The original polychromy with gilding gives the figure a warm, dignified appearance.
