This authentic antique horse collar is a beautiful piece of historical harness with a lot of character. Fully constructed from a wooden core, sturdy leather covering, and metal hames, and finished with original straps and chain. An honest, well-used object that clearly served for many years.

The collar features a thick, padded inner lining for comfort and pressure distribution, while the outer side is nicely dark patinated by age and use. The metal parts show natural oxidation and give the whole piece that typical rural look that collectors and interior designers seek.

Given the dimensions (approx. 53 × 27 × 15 cm) it was a model intended for a smaller horse or pony — ideal as a decorative piece that isn’t too bulky but still has presence.
