Marie Paulette (Pauline) Bonaparte (Ajaccio, 20 October 1780 – Florence, 9 June 1825) was the second sister of Napoleon Bonaparte. She was regarded in her time as a famous beauty.
She married at the age of 17 to Charles Leclerc, a general in Napoleon's army, and accompanied him on his expedition to Santo Domingo to quell the slave uprising there. She betrayed her husband there with several men but stood by him on his deathbed. Leclerc died on November 1, 1802 of yellow fever. Seven days later Pauline returned with his mortal remains to France and asked Napoleon for help.

Made from a composite mixture of marble powder and resin.
