Icon depicting Christ Pantocrator, the central subject of Byzantine iconography and the Russian Orthodox tradition. Christ is portrayed frontally, with his right hand raised in a blessing gesture and his left holding the open Gospel book, on which is inscribed a quote in Old Church Slavonic.

The image, characterized by strict symmetry and solemnity, expresses the dual divine and human nature of the Redeemer. The golden background evokes eternal light and the celestial dimension, while the red border emphasizes the liturgical and devotional function of the work.

Executed according to the models of the Russian painting schools of the 19th century, the icon preserves the canonical structure of the Byzantine tradition, enriched with fine line work, warm color schemes, and precious ornamental details in the drapery and the nimbus.
