Two oak plant/side tables made in the Netherlands in an Art Deco style, in good condition with minor signs of age and small stains, with the taller table about 62 cm high and 30 × 30 cm top, and the shorter about 50 cm high with a 26 × 26 cm top.
Description from the seller
Two very nice and decorative side tables / plant tables. The tables are made of oak. The tallest table is 562 cm high and the top is 30 cm x 30 cm. The weight is about 3 kg. The lower table is about 50 cm high and the top is 26 cm x 26 cm. The weight of this little table is also about 3 kg. The tallest table dates from the 1980s, and the lower table dates from 1991 of the last century (see photo of the text on the bottom). Both tables are made of oak and the style can be described as Art Deco.
The high table is made in the Netherlands; in Oisterwijk to be exact (see photo of the stamp on the bottom). Also the other one probably comes from the Netherlands. That could be Oisterwijk, but that's not certain.
Both tables are still 100% stable, noting that the top of the tallest table has some moisture stains. However, these signs of use are not at all troublesome (see photos). Both side tables show signs of use, but both still look good and are very decorative. The flame figure of the oak wood is particularly striking, especially in the legs of the tall table. This means the oak is half-quarter-sawn. This is a sawing method that makes the wood the strongest and yields the most beautiful grain.
The tables are still very sturdy, and thus not only beautiful pieces of furniture in a room, but also highly functional. They can be used as plant tables or side tables, but also as pedestals (see photos).
Both tables are carefully packed and carefully shipped.
