Rare 61-piece faience service by Petrus Regout & Co Maastricht, model Castillo, in brown transferware depicting architectural landscapes and bucolic scenes, circa 1900–1915, with 2 teapots, teacups, sugar and creamer sets, plates and platters, all stamped Made in Holland; excellent overall condition with minor edge chips on a few pieces and light wear consistent with age, dimensions about 80 × 60 × 60 cm and weight around 19 kg.

Important antique dinner service by Petrus Regout & Co. Maastricht – Model “Castillo” – 61 pieces – Romantic brown décor – Circa 1900–1915
Rare fine porcelain set from the Dutch manufacturer Petrus Regout & Co (Maastricht), emblematic model “Castillo,” brown transferware decor depicting architectural landscapes, castles, and bucolic scenes framed by a rich and elegant floral frieze.
This model, produced at the turn of the 20th century (circa 1900–1915), fits within the European tradition inspired by English ironstone and transferware productions, which are very sought after today for their decorative character and visual impact.
The overall ensemble is homogeneous, coherent, and visually spectacular when presented.

The property is in good overall condition for its age.
The earthenware is glossy, and the decorations are sharp and well-contrasted.
To be reported with transparency:
– 3 cups have slight chips along the rim
– Some coasters show small chips or signs of wear along the edge.
– Normal signs of wear related to time (surface micro-scratches, small storage marks)
– Light brown occasional stains on certain pieces, typical of the aging of old earthenware.
