Description from the seller
This is a Tektronix T922 oscilloscope, a classic measuring instrument from the 1970s that is used to visually display electrical signals as waveforms on a screen.
Important Features
Type: An analog, portable oscilloscope with a dual-trace display, meaning it can show two different signals (CH1 and CH2) simultaneously.
Bandwidth: It has a bandwidth of 15 MHz, which is sufficient for many basic electronics repairs and hobby projects.
Sensitivity: The vertical amplifier provides calibrated settings from 2 mV to 10 V per division.
Timebase: The sweep speeds range from 0.5 s/div to 0.2 µs/div, with a magnification function that can speed this up to 20 ns/div.
Use and Value
Application: This model was produced between 1976 and 1981 and is known for its robustness. It is still valued today by hobbyists for repairing audio equipment, synthesizers, or for making “oscilloscope music” in XY mode.
Includes 2 power cords and a attenuator at the input signal to dampen it.
It was at my technical school and I worked with it for 4 years, and when they were replaced in the final year I bought it, so I was the 2nd owner and kept it in good condition for many years.
This was produced by TEKTRONIX in the United States in BEAVERTON, OREGON in 1976.
It is still very beloved; I’m tidying up my things a bit because I have had two strokes and have sustained a lot of residual damage, and I haven’t worked with it for a while, which I regret, so if I can make another hobbyist happy with it, that would make me very glad.
