Description from the seller
Michelin Bibendum - PVC, metal - 1970-1979 - France
Rare French edition from the 1970s of Bibendum, the official mascot of the French tire company Michelin. The Michelin Man first appeared on an advertisement poster in 1989 and has since grown into an icon in the automotive world. The figure consists of a stack of tires, and the name Bibendum comes from the Latin expression 'Nunc est bibendum' or 'Now is the time to drink.'
This is an original 1970s version in the colors of the French flag, with a mounting system to mount Bibendum (the Michelin Man) on a truck in a classic way. An absolute collector's item.
