This piece is an authentic original one-of-a-kind Japanese production drawing, hand-drawn by studio artists at OLM, and used directly in the creation of the Pokémon anime series.
As an original production material, this artwork is unique, with no duplicates in existence.
Created for internal studio use during the production of the Pokémon anime, this drawing represents a genuine artifact from the animation production process.
The colored paper signifies that this drawing is a director’s correction, a particularly scarce and desirable category of production artwork. Director’s corrections are typically executed by senior animators or episode directors to refine character posing, motion, or on-screen acting, adding notable historical and collector value.
