Japanese Professional Pruning Shears Set (5)
This lot consists of five traditional Japanese professional pruning shears (植木屋鋏), used by gardeners and bonsai craftsmen.

Main piece (upper row, with box):
• Maker: Masamune (鋏正宗)
• Length: 18.5 cm
• Type: Professional Okubo-style pruning shears
• Steel: Yasuki Steel – Aogami No.2 (Blue Paper Steel No.2)
• Original box included
Aogami No.2 (also known as “Blue Paper Steel No.2”) is a premium high-carbon steel produced in Yasugi, Japan.
It is widely used in high-end Japanese knives due to its high hardness, excellent edge retention, and superior wear resistance.
This steel is particularly valued by professional craftsmen.
