Small, traditional Yixing clay teapot, also known as Zisha Hu, made from red clay (hong ni or zhu ni).
Originating from Yixing in China's Jiangsu province.
The specific shape, featuring a round body and curved spout, is known as diaopiu or duo zhi, emphasizing circular lines.

Measurements: H. 58 mm
Wide: spout to handle 83 mm
Diameter: 50 mm
Weight: 53 gram
Condition: chips at the rims of the cover, crack to the underside of the handle, firing flaws at the inside of the pot. (See images)
Marks: A short poem: Hua Yeu Zhi Jian Ji Bei Ke Le (roughly translated: with flowers and the moon together enyoing one cup of tea) stamped with two impressed seals at the base of Mingyuan
Provenance: Private collection in the Netherlands.
