Folding round solid wood side table with a dark finish and cross-shaped legs carved to imitate bamboo, dating to the mid‑century period (1950s–1960s) and in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Round solid wood folding side table with a dark finish. The top features a raised edge that adds character and practicality. The legs are cross-shaped, carved wood that mimic bamboo, a decorative style popular in mid-20th-century furniture.
The frame includes horizontal stretchers that reinforce stability. Given its design and materials, it is estimated to have been manufactured between the 1950s and 1970s, possibly within the colonial or tropical style that was in vogue during that period. A sturdy piece, well preserved, ideal for spaces with vintage or eclectic decor.
H 56 x W 51 cm.
Round folding side table; note the light varnish wear on the top in keeping with its use and age—a patina of authenticity.
