Gaja Barbaresco 2001, a 0.75 L bottle from Italy, produced by Gaja, containing Nebbiolo and sourced from Barbaresco, with 1 bottle.
Description from the seller
The 2001 Gaja Barbaresco is widely regarded as a masterpiece from a benchmark vintage. Angelo Gaja’s flagship wine is a blend of 100% Nebbiolo sourced from 14 different estate vineyards.
On the nose, expect a complex bouquet of dried roses, truffles, and sweet balsamic notes. The palate is silky and elegant, featuring layers of dark cherry, licorice, and tobacco. With 25 years of age, the tannins have integrated beautifully, though the wine still possesses the vibrant acidity and structure that Gaja is famous for. This bottle is currently in its peak drinking window but will continue to hold well for several more years.
Bottle Condition:
Fill Level: Excellent / Into Neck (High fill for its age, indicating perfect storage).
Label: Clean and fully legible, with minimal signs of aging (see photos).
Capsule: Intact and tight; Gaja logo clearly visible on top.
