Obverse: a crowned German Imperial Eagle, with the legend DEUTSCHES REICH and the date 1914.
Reverse: denomination 1/2 MARK in the center, surrounded by a laurel and oak wreath.

Silver 1/2 Mark coin with a classical heraldic representation of the German Empire. The obverse shows the imperial eagle in a naturalistic style, with good detail in the plumage and crown, highlighting sharp relief and clean fields. The reverse presents the face value 1/2 Mark within a finely engraved vegetal crown, balanced and well centered. The specimen retains its original sheen visible, with a light and uniform patina, and only minimal contact marks consistent with its conservation grade, offering a very attractive and solid presence for its issue from the late German Empire.
