Detailed Description
Type: premium rectangular frame with a deep 'grooved' profile, ideal for mirrors or period paintings (still lifes, portraits).
Style: Baroque/Rococo-inspired. It is distinguished by broad moulding and the richness of the ornaments that give importance and depth to the work it contains.
Materials: Solid wood frame with finely crafted pastiglia decorations (plaster and resin).
Finish: gold leaf gilding (or imitation gold) with a pleasant antique patina. The surface features a semi-gloss finish that enhances the reliefs and the play of light.
Decorations:
Corners (cantonal): enriched with eye-catching acanthus leaf motifs and raised floral volutes.
Edges: The inner profile features a 'fuseruola' technique (small spheres or repeated geometric motifs), while the outer edge is decorated with shell motifs and classical engravings.
