Table service - Brass, Silverplated - Cloche, circa 1900

Very decorative 'cloche' with the accompanying dish.
Sleekly designed, with a beautiful pearl trim at the bottom of the cloche.
The bowl and the cloche still have silvering on the inner/bottom side.
To preserve the vintage condition, this item has been cleaned but not polished to a high gloss. So the signs of age have been deliberately preserved. This is, of course, a matter of taste; if desired, it can always be polished to a high gloss.
Based on online comparisons, the origin seems to be France, around 1900.

Dimensions of the bowl: approx. 1 cm high, 40 cm wide and 33 cm deep
