9x12 plate camera, wooden case and aluminum base plate. Interior of the case made of mahogany, with the number 27334 at the top left. Beautiful red leather bellows with no visible cracks or holes, not checked for light-tightness. Double bellows extension. The extension mechanism works fine, the camera folds in and out smoothly. Lens holder adjustable in height and side-to-side. Ground globe finder and hood in good condition. Lens, an Extra Rapid Aplanat, is clear, without scratches or mold. Shutter functions, but not tested for correct operation. The diaphragm works well. There is no brand marking on the camera. Based on comparison and on internet sources, everything points toward a Luttke & Arndt product. Beautiful display camera. Weight over 700 g. Insured shipping.
