A specimen that embodies the classical paragenesis of Colombian hydrothermal deposits. This crystal stands out for its robust and well-defined hexagonal prismatic habit, crowned by a basal pinacoid termination with subtle textures of natural growth.
It features an abundance of euhedral pyrite microcrystals embedded both on the surface and within the interior of the beryl. This metallic contrast against the saturated green is not only visually striking, but also serves as a geological "signature" of authenticity.
The crystal exhibits a silky translucence and lateral faces with marked growth striations, indicating slow crystallization.
