This beautiful specimen of Colombian emerald is a miniature that embodies the purity of beryl in its noblest state.
The crystal exhibits a clearly defined hexagonal prismatic habit, with a verticality that highlights its natural elegance.
The most notable feature for the collector is its transparency, which allows near-total light transmission, revealing a vibrant and luminous green color, balanced by a homogeneous saturation typical of the most exclusive hydrothermal formations in Boyacá.
The morphology of the piece is rich in technical details: the side faces display fine, parallel longitudinal striations, unmistakable marks of rhythmic and slow growth. The upper termination preserves a basal pinacoid with subtle growth figures and natural contact marks alongside microcrystals of calcite at the top, which certify the crystal's integrity since its extraction. Despite its clarity, the specimen maintains a very discreet internal "garden" that adds character without compromising the piece's vitreous shine. It is a specimen that stands out for its rare combination of geometric perfection and gem-quality transparency.
