Antique Silver-Plated Liturgical Chalice with Gilt Interior – Ecclesiastical – Early 20th Century

Elegant antique liturgical chalice crafted in silver-plated metal (“silver plate / casquinha”), featuring a richly decorated stem and base with classical ecclesiastical motifs. The cup has a beautiful gilt (gold-washed) interior, traditionally used in religious vessels to protect the surface and enhance its ceremonial appearance.

The chalice stands on a weighted circular base with detailed embossed ornamentation and a finely shaped stem, reflecting traditional church craftsmanship from the late 19th to early 20th century.

This piece was tested and confirmed to be silver-plated, not solid silver.

Condition:
Good antique condition with natural patina consistent with age and use. Minor surface wear and light scratches. The gilt interior remains well preserved. Structurally sound and stable. Please refer to photos for details.
