This bottle did not see the light of day for decades.

Almost nothing, Collector friends, the story behind Chartreuse Tarragona is incredible..., in short, legend has it that if you drink this liqueur every day it will lengthen your life, a few drops in your tea.

I’ve tried it and it tastes like lightning. I should add that I’m not a heavy drinker, and that the year I drank it was 1970, and it still has years to mature.

I took the 8 bottles of this collection to Tarragona, where Mr. Antonio (the greatest Chartreuse expert in Spain), the authentic one, made me a very acceptable offer for the bottles, but we did not reach an agreement.

As far as I know, it takes 75 years for each bottle to start maturing, so right now you drink bottles from the 1940s and 1950s at least.

They came from a private collector who had them perfectly preserved.
