Description from the seller

Vintage countertop coffee grinder – precious wood & solid brass, with drawer, late 19th / early 20th century

Magnificent vintage-style manual countertop coffee grinder, probably from the late 19th century or the very early 20th century (circa 1890–1920), typical of establishments, delicatessens or period bistros.
This sliding-drawer model is entirely made from noble, high-quality materials:
Solid wood base (probably walnut or fruitwood), finely veined, hand-polished, featuring a beautiful natural patina and authentic signs of wear that attest to its history.
Mechanism and upper receptacle in polished solid brass (or patinated bronze/brass), of an elegant shape with a rounded conical bowl.
Bronze crank with a handle also in turned bronze.
Matching wooden drawer for used coffee grounds, featuring an elegant brass knob.

General condition :
Very good cosmetic condition for its age. The wood shows a warm and even patina, some signs of use and natural micro-scratches (no cracks or repairs visible). The brass retains a beautiful golden color with an antique patina. The mechanism turns freely (to be checked whether the grinding burrs are in good condition and still cut correctly – not tested with coffee recently).
A highly sought-after decorative piece for counter-top vintage enthusiasts, bistrot decor, antique coffee grinders, and collectible caffeine-related items. Perfect for a retro kitchen, a bar counter, or an antique display case.
