AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Beautiful amphora-shaped vase in patinated copper with a stand, attributable to or in the style of the French ramist master Claudius Linossier (20th century, 1930s). This is a very rare object, handmade entirely in darkened copper and hammered with geometric incised decorations, both on the body of the vase and on the stand. On the neck of the vase are two beautiful faces, incised with the stippling technique, probably depicting two Greek deities. The item is completely original, made entirely of copper that after about a century has acquired a splendid green patina (the so-called verdigris). The style and the period are squarely in the Art Deco style, known for its elegant lines and incised geometric decorations; a piece of great value and very rare.
