A tripod cooking pot with a movable handle, hammered decoration, marked L. Lecellier – Villedieu

The tripod pot rests on three wrought-iron legs and features a hammered decoration characteristic of the workshops of Villedieu-les-Poêles. It bears the workshop mark L. Lecellier – Villedieu, attesting to Norman artisanal craftsmanship.
The couade, a regional traditional utensil, was used to scoop up, heat, or work mixtures over the fireplace. Its long hollow riveted handle is typical of old Norman productions.
Interior surfaces formerly tin-plated (normal wear).
Uniform aged patina.
Signs of wear consistent with age.
No modern restoration visible.
