Wall mirror - Wood, Glass

This large-format mirror object dates from the late 1970s to the early 1980s and stands out for its distinctive, period-typical design.

The mirror is set in a solid-looking veneered wooden frame, whose gently curved inner contour creates a striking contrast with the clean outer form. The dark, warm-toned wood surface emphasizes the elegant, slightly sculptural character and is typical of high-quality domestic pieces from this era.

The mirror surface is overall very well preserved. There are two small spots with point-like traces, which hardly stand out in the overall appearance and reflect the wear condition appropriate for its age. From a normal viewing distance, these are only perceptible upon close inspection.

The back is constructed in such a way that the mirror can be hung both vertically and horizontally. This makes it flexible for different room situations—whether as a wall mirror in the hallway, above a chest of drawers, or as a large-format statement piece in the living area.
