AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Very beautiful Art Deco wall-mounted coat rack. The coat rack is 81 cm wide, 21.5 cm high and 10 cm deep. It is made of oak, and the hooks are made of iron. The coat rack weighs about 3.5 kg.
The coat rack dates from the 1920s and is a typical product of Art Deco, and in particular of the Amsterdam School. Very characteristic are the clean, symmetrical lines of the decoration on the coat rack (see photos), and the shape of the hooks. These hooks are also sold separately and fetch high prices!

This coat rack is still in very good condition. It is also 100% original. Also very nice are the two sides that are stained in a reddish-brown color and two decorative ribs on the coat rack that are ebonized. Ebonizing was commonly done in the past. To make wood look like expensive ebony wood, it was then stained black.
This simple yet stylish coat rack, with its distinctive design, is a jewel in any interior and certainly a conversation piece.

The coat rack is skillfully packed and shipped insured.
