Biscuit box - Cookie jar, Cookie pot, Cookie drum - Art Deco - Porcelain

A very special and rare cookie tin / biscuit tin from the Art Deco period. The cookie tin dates from around 1920–1930 and was manufactured in Germany.

The cookie jar is made of porcelain. The lid is made of metal with a beautiful, inward-hammered decorative edge. The cookie jar is marked on the bottom with 274 / 3.

The cookie tin is in good condition. It closes well and hinges properly. The lid has signs of wear on the outside and the porcelain has a hairline crack on the front, see photos. At the bottom there are a few chips. This is not distracting, see photos.
