Description from the seller

Sphere made of natural quartz–feldspar breccia, a composite rock characterized by a clastic structure, formed by angular fragments of quartz and feldspars bonded together by a darker, naturally derived matrix. The surface displays an irregular mosaic texture, with light-colored clasts in pale gray, beige, and milky tones, alternating with dark fragments and veins that create a sharp and dynamic contrast. Local ochre and orange hues are present, due to natural oxidations, which further enrich the overall pattern. The arrangement of the fragments is chaotic yet coherent, with clearly evident fracture lines running through the entire volume of the sphere, accentuating its three-dimensionality.

Seller's Story

The Mineral Art Gallery offers minerals, fossils, shells and natural elements. Born in Italy in 2017, today she collaborates with international galleries and collectors, she is a direct importer of large minerals and naturalistic collectible elements; deals with the processing to insert them inside the living space. A section of the gallery was dedicated to the Wunderkammer, "chamber of wonders or cabinet of curiosities" in which Mirabilia elements are presented: naturalia and italiania, a union between "the present is the past". All lots are shipped via DHL Express and Fercam couriers, with insured parcel and tracking.
