Unisex Bernhard Hertz sterling silver (925S) brooch, ca. 1950–1970, Scandinavian modernist design, 56 mm wide, 5.4 g, with BH maker’s mark and pin closure, in good used condition.

Danish modernist silver brooch – Bernhard Hertz (BH) – Sterling silver 925S – circa 1950–1970 – 5.4 grams
An elegant and refined Scandinavian design brooch in sterling silver, designed and manufactured by the renowned Danish jewelry house Bernhard Hertz. The graceful, openwork design evokes a stylized leaf or fern and beautifully showcases the organic language of form that is so characteristic of Danish modernist jewelry design from the mid-20th century.
The brooch is subtle, light to wear, and yet clearly present thanks to the flowing lines and the soft silver sheen.
