Description from the seller
Foo dogs (also known as Fu dogs, Fu lions, or Chinese guardian lions) are traditional Chinese protective statues that are often placed in pairs in front of buildings, temples, and palaces.
Symbolism and function:
They serve as spiritual guardians who ward off evil and bring good luck.
Always in pairs: the male specimen (on the right) has his paw on an embroidered ball (a symbol of power), the female (on the left) has a cub beneath her paw (a symbol of nurturing).
Important in feng shui for the protection of homes and businesses.
The set is in good used condition with signs of aging. (See photos)
Very fine and detailed.
Carefully packed and shipped insured.
Weight: 830 grams.
This item can be shipped together with my other items in this auction so that you only have to pay the shipping costs once.
