In excellent condition! No crackling potentiometers, but a warm and full sound. Attractive aluminum fronts, very tidy wooden enclosure, VU meters, a sensitive AM/FM tuner with preset stations, ample power and ample connections.
Philips 594 amplifier + 694 tuner – Iconic Dutch hi-fi system from the golden years
A rare opportunity for the admirer of genuine vintage HiFi: a fully functioning Philips 594 amplifier combined with the matching 694 tuner. This set comes from the heyday of Philips audio engineering, when sturdiness, musicality and timeless design went hand in hand.

Ideal for vinyl, radio enthusiasts, or anyone seeking an authentic vintage Hi-Fi experience. Of course it is also usable with modern streamers (as I have with a Bluesound Node).

This set is both a beautiful addition to a Philips collection and a fully fledged amplifier-tuner combination for everyday listening pleasure. Original, distinctive and technically reliable.
The cables depicted are supplied to connect the tuner to the amplifier (DIN-DIN), to connect an external source (DIN-PLUG), and two speaker cables with plugs.
The set will be very well packaged using sturdy cardboard inner boxes, bubble wrap, and a very sturdy outer box. The set will be shipped, at the seller's expense, with insurance. The technical manual including diagrams can be sent after the auction ends, at no cost, as a PDF. Please send me a message if you would like it.
