MANGIADISCHI LESA - Mady 2 Record player

An iconic pair of LESA portable cassette players, model Mady 2.
This is a pair in identical condition, contemporaries as can be inferred from the serial numbers still present, with no cracks, scratches, rust, or signs of oxidation.
The natural patina of time is preserved and enhances the vintage aesthetic of the two objects.
They operate on battery and mains (power cables are not included).
Tested; the mechanism is functioning; the volume needs to be adjusted. Probably it's just a cleaning issue.
On the front panel there is the mode switch lever for 33 and 45 rpm modes, the disc eject button and the volume knob. Simple and minimalist, typical of those years.
Designed by De Goetzen, whose works are in major Modern Art museums, by the late 1960s he had become one of the most widespread figures of his time.
