Description from the seller
Bought it from Japan some time ago and it's working fine. The light on VU-meters is kind of faded, I don't know if should be like this or could be brigher. Also, the small red LED indicating power on is not working. Apart from that, nothing else to notice. The potentiometers are fine and no crackling sound is produced as it is usually the case with these old devices.
The interesting thing about this powerful amplifier is that the part following the voltage amplification stage is composed of a bias circuit unique to the CA-2000, and when the power supply voltage of the power amplification stage is switched by a switch, it automatically switches between class A (ID = 1.4A) and class B (ID = 50mA). ) bias. It is not recommended to switch with a loud sound as it may break if you switch frequently due to the contact timing deviation of the switching relay.
It's clean, the wood part is shiny (yellow wood present only on the Japan versions) and it is a beautiful product for its age.
Being an old product, is under NR/NG policy.
Thank you for understanding.
Adapter from 220V to 110V (450W) is provided.
