А very attractive silver rouble from the reign of Emperor Nicholas I. This coin features excellent detail, especially on the Imperial Eagle's feathers and the St. George shield. Obverse: Double-headed eagle with the mintmaster's initials "Н Г". Circular inscription stating the silver content: "4 Zolotniks 21 Dolya of pure silver".
Reverse: Crowned denomination "МОНЕТА РУБЛЬ", date "1841", and mint mark "С.П.Б." inside a wreath of laurel and oak. Edge: Lettered edge with silver purity details. Condition: VF+ / XF-. The coin has a sharp relief and a pleasant authentic patina. Some minor circulation marks and hairlines consistent with age. Weight is correct and within tolerance for this type.
