Description from the seller

Beautiful little antique globe published by Ludwig Julius Heymann, Berlin, in 1889.
The globe has a diameter of 10 cm. The small Heymann globes are rare and highly sought after, especially in the good condition in which this one is.
It is a globe from the early years of Heymann's globe production, before the publisher moved to Berlin-Zehlendorf.
The globes of Heymann are known for their beautifully detailed cartography, and the elegant stand. The compass in the stand is missing.
There are two small dents to the left and right of the cartouche but otherwise the globe is in very good condition.
All in all a beautiful small antique globe.
