Hala Zeist wall lamp from the 1960s in white metal with a curved arm, E27 fitting, 61 cm high and 38 cm deep, weighing about 1100 g, in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
Hala Zeist – Vintage wall lamp / wall lamp – Netherlands – ca. 1960–1975 - Probably designed by the design team led by H.Th.J.A. Busquet
A characterful and timeless vintage wall lamp from Hala Zeist, made of white-painted metal with an elegant curved arm. This model embodies the functional Dutch design of the 1960s–1970s, in which simplicity, purposefulness, and clean lines were central.
Produced by Hala Zeist, a leading Dutch lamp manufacturer known for its sturdy constructions and sober, modernist design.
Design & appearance
This wall lamp features a graceful swan-neck-like arm and a conically expanding metal shade. The form is minimalist but striking — typical of the functionalism that Hala employed during this period.
The shade directs light downward, making this model highly suitable as:
• Reading lamp next to an armchair or bed
• Accent lighting in a hall or workspace
Ambient wall lighting in a modern or vintage interior.
The combination of the slender vertical rod, round wall mount, and smoothly curved arm gives the lamp a subtly sculptural character.
Material & finish:
• Material: lacquered metal
Color: white / off-white
• Wall mounting: round metal rosette
• Fitting: E27 (standard fitting)
• Style period: Mid-Century Modern / Functionalism
The finish is clean and industrial, without superfluous decoration — exactly what Dutch design is known for.
The lamp is in beautiful vintage condition with light signs of use appropriate for its age and use. The finish shows normal signs of aging, without any noticeable damage. The lamp is originally wired with a plug and an on/off switch on the cord.
Dimensions: H 61 cm x D 38 cm
Weight: approx. 1100 grams
It is securely packaged with smart shipping, sent by registered mail and insured, with track and trace.
